Below is our 2017 Spring Digital Concert. Instead of an assembly style In School Concert held in the gym, we decided to start a series of Digital Concerts where we record each group and post their repertoire on YouTube. The video below is a playlist of the Bands (multiple videos) and the Choirs (one video).
Blake Depinet will be marching in the Rose Parade on January 2nd as a member of the Bands of America Honor Band. We are so excited that he was accepted to participate in this once in a lifetime opportunity!
The Bands of America Honor Band is sponsored by Music For All, and they will be posting LIVE from the event through social media, and you can follow them on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, and on SnapChat @officialmfa. To find out when you can catch Blake, follow the official Rose Parade Schedule.
We are excited to watch you march, Blake! We know you will represent New Riegel well!
The 5-12 Winter Band and Choir Concert for this evening has been cancelled, due to the weather and threat of more snow rolling in during the scheduled concert time. Stay safe this evening, and Happy Holidays!
Pardon the “Game of Thrones” reference there, but it is true… winter is coming! And with winter, comes concert season! But first, a quick fall wrap-up:
CLUB SHOW 2016 was awesome! This year was a smaller cast, but the audience turnout was great! Thank you to everyone who came out, and thank you to the cast of Club Show 2016. You guys put on a fantastic show, and I could not be more proud of what you accomplished!
The KETTERING NATIONAL A CAPPELLA FESTIVAL was this past weekend, and the Jacket Company joined 60+ a cappella groups from around the country in various concert, clinics & aca-bombs! We learned a lot over the weekend, and cannot wait to put our new knowledge on the stage!
This coming Friday, the JC will perform on the 1st Annual A Cappella Dinner Show at North Union Schools! NU Age was the guest group at our Dinner Show last year, and they liked the idea so much, they decided to put on their own Dinner Show! We were invited to be the guest group, and we are very excited to join them on the stage! If you are free on Saturday, Nov 19 at 6:30pm, come on out to North Union Elementary School for some a cappella!

The 2016 Fall In School Concert was held yesterday (Oct 13th) at 2:15pm, and the students did GREAT! The first concert of the school year (in front of peers) can be difficult, but the students rose to the occasion and did a fantastic job!
THANK YOU to all of the K-12 students, faculty & staff for attending the concert, to the administration for allowing us to have an in school concert, and to Mrs. Hopple for coming in to accompany for us! We really appreciate it!
There are parades coming up over the next few Sunday’s (Oct 16, 23, 30), so be sure to check the Instrumental Page or talk with Mrs. Kleba for all of the details!
CLUB SHOW 2016 is right around the corner! We hope to see you at one of the performances (Nov 4 – 7pm or Nov 6 – 2pm)
